Charlie LeSueur Tells Western Tales

Until You Walk The Path, You Won’t Know Where it Goes hosting author and Arizona's Official Western Film Historian, Charlie LeSueur at 2 pm eastern on February 1, 2015 as we talk about how the western genre has and continues to influence our culture.

Charlie LeSueur has conducted well over 1000 Question and Answer sessions with the cowboy stars of the silver screen and television starting with Lash La Rue in 1992. In 1999 he released his first book based on interviews he conducted up until that time. The Legends Live On: Interviews with the Cowboy Stars of the Silver Screen features in depth studies of stars such as, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, Rex Allen, Harry Carey, Jr., Ben Johnson, Robert Fuller, Buck and Dub Taylor, Lash La Rue, John Smith, and Johnny Western told through revealing interviews. In 2014, Charlie released an addendum to this book which answers unanswered questions to the John Smith chapter. Clearing up the Dusty Trail: The Chapter 6 Addendum is offered with the previous book or separately.

Since then, LeSueur has written Riding the Hollywood Trail: Tales of the Silver Screen Cowboys. This comprehensive study of the history of the silver screen "B" westerns is told through the careers of the stars starting with Broncho Billy Anderson in 1903 and ending in 1955 when the studios closed this chapter of western film history.

Since then he has released two CDs called Golden Nuggets Along the Old Hollywood Trail which feature little known facts and stories about film and television westerns and the stars. He is currently working on his next book, Riding the Hollywood Trail II: Blazing the Early Television Trail, which features the fascinating stories of the stars and film heroes that successfully and not so successfully made the transition to television in the early 1950s.

In January of 2014, Charlie LeSueur was honored with his boot prints pressed in cement and added to the Apacheland Wall of Fame in the Audie Murphy Barn at the Superstition Mountain Museum. In February of 2014, he proudly was proclaimed Arizona's Official Western Film Historian.

Horses and Heroes is not about pointing fingers or creating a political firestorm. It is a documentary, which will help military personnel and veterans find a new way to cope with the physical and emotional challenges brought into their lives by war. Equine Therapy does not involve drugs nor lying on a couch and spilling their guts. What it does do is help them find new ways to see and react to their emotional triggers. It helps their bodies remember how it used to work. It can't replace what was lost, but it can give them the confidence to see that they are more than the sum of their body parts. Horses and Heroes will give veterans and military personnel the information they need to find alternative healing solutions, which can help prevent another Fort Hood. Horses and Heroes can’t fix the system nor will be it is a cure all. What it will do is show that there is an alternative that does help by focusing on the how working with the horses helps military personnel and veterans face their physical and emotional challenges, it will reach out to those who are in need and tell them they are not alone. It will provide the dual benefit of also providing jobs. Not only will it share the personal stories about the effectiveness of Equine Therapy, but we will also be give jobs to veterans already in the entertainment industry and open the door for those who are looking for a new career.

Who is Theresa Chaze?

In the early 1990's, I walked away from the entertainment industry. I was burnt out and disillusioned. Instead, I focused on my fiction and my spirituality. Although it those years were very healing and fulfilling, there was still something missing.

In 2003, I was able to translate my television and writing experience into producing digital videos. At first I just promoted my work. However, my reputation for producing quality quickly spread. Other authors, PR firms, and publishers were reaching out to me to market their books.

I reached a major bend in that road in 2008. The writing on Days of Our Lives went from bad to worse. Me being me I couldn't just sit by and quietly watch the hack writing destroy one of my favorite shows. Instead, I wrote alternative storylines and posted them on the NBC Days of Our Lives board. I was just trying to be snarky and prove that there are much better writers out there. Most of the responses were positive. Nearly all wanted to read more. So I continued telling the story. As simplistic as it may seem, it was a very important turning point in my life. (You can read the Days of our Lives script by going here and  clicking the Adobe symbol. The PDF file still isn't up to industry standards. But it is just to tell the story. It is not a job presentation. If you are looking to hire me, please contact me directly. I have much better work available.)

Each "episode" only cost be a couple of two-three hours. It was mostly for fun. Originally, I never did consider it to be anything more, which is why I didn't bother making the scripts an industry standard presentation. However, many people wanted me to apple for the head writer gig. Eventually, I did clean up a presentation and apply. Luckily, I wasn't hired.

I say luckily, because if I had been, I wouldn't have rewritten Never Can Say Good-bye or created the other projects that have followed. Nor would I have started producing again. I am so very grateful to the Days of Our Lives fans, who encouraged me, but I'm even more thankful to Ken Corday for turning me down.

The past seven years have been scary and frustrating, but they have also been the most amazing years of my life. I have been challenged by my own fears and the many con artists, who tried to capitalize on my work. I was forced to find the true meaning of me. It wasn't always easy. There were many tears shed. Many times I screamed in anger, fear, and frustration. Many times I just wanted to give up. Like I said it wasn't easy, but it was worth it.

Recently, I realized that what I lost wasn't my love of the industry, but my belief in myself. I allowed others to change how I saw me and my talent. I had always been a doer. I set my goals. Then I achieved them. When people told me that it was impossible. I'd laugh and then just did it. Mostly I did it so well, that they naysayers looked stupid. This reminder was brought home recently after a snow storm. I had to go out. It never occurred to me that I wouldn't be able to get out. I just drove out of my driveway through the foot and half of snow. On the way back home, a glimmer of doubt about getting back in wafted through my mind. It was casually brushed aside and I pulled easily into my driveway.

We do what we believe we can. If we think we can't then we won't. It's that simple.

I have come back to the industry much stronger and wiser than before. I am a writer, producer, and editor that the entertainment world both desires and fears at the same time. I am a creative with a keen business sense. As a writer, I create original work. As a producer, I pull together the people and resources needed to produce a quality project. My business sense keeps the budget low enough to make a profit, while still being able to keep the production values high. I have a common sense no nonsense attitude that doesn't waste time, energy, or money. I have the courage to be innovative and challenge the status quo, which is why the current insiders both need and fear people like me.

Love can be a blessing or the curse that destroys an entire town.

Will she take the revenge that she was denied in the past?

Sara Jane's soul was locked away until the sacrifice of another frees her to incarnate. She created a new life free of the old ties until the manipulations of another brought her back to the place where she was trapped and betrayed by the man she loved.    Will she find the way to forgive them all or will she take the revenge that she was denied in the past?

Never Can Say Good-bye is a paranormal thriller, which is much like Ghost, The Others, and the original TV series Dark Shadows. We already have cast and crew attached, including Sally Kirkland, Conrad Goode, Kimberly Estrada, Bill Hayes, and Sharon Smyth Lentz as well as the amazing A-listers of the future: Lillian Lamour, John Thomassen, Niki Cipriano, and Sean Harmon.

I have been communicating with a distributor. Although she can't give us a commitment at this time, she is very interested in our progress and has repeatedly asked to be kept up to date.

Though the weekly notifications that Slated sends out I know that that last week we had 30 investors worth $96 million USD tracking Never Can Say Good-bye. Horses and Heroes has $31 million USD tracking it. I suspect they are waiting for first money in or a distribution deal. This is the reason we are willing to give an extra percentage point for the first money.

Although we can't guarantee anything financially, I can say will confidence that we will make our investors proud as well as it is very likely a good profit,  To learn more about the who and what of Never Can Say Good-bye as well as watch our videos and listen to our music, please visit our website http://cproduction5.wix.com/cosmos-productions-#!page2/cjg9
