Wounded Warrior Project labeled a Scam

"Wounded Warriors Project called legal scam as scandalous news spreads"

Follow the link to read the article. http://www.gunssavelife.com/?p=10373

The title of this blog post on the surface sounds like a scandal in the making, until you read the article and research the organization behind it. It is in fact very defamatory and bias.

Taken directly from their website:

"Guns Save Life is a regional civil rights organization that works
to educate the public about the benefits of firearm ownership.

The group had its origins as a county grassroots committee of the
Illinois State Rifle Association in about 1995, initially meeting
in Rantoul, and later holding its monthly meetings in the Jolly
Roger restaurant in Urbana, IL.

GSL was later incorporated as its own non-profit corporation and
today represent gun owners in Illinois, Indiana and beyond in
proactive grassroots activism promoting and defending firearm
rights and the civil right of self-defense."

However, the only Civil Right they defend is their version of the Second Amendment.
From the article, it seems the GSL took offense when the Wounded Warrior Project didn't immediately support their organization. They are all about guns and the Bible. You know the type, "Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition."

The Wound Warrior Project refused to allow the GSL to use their logo or to have their brand connected with them, so they threw verbal rocks at the salaries the WWP's officers and their fund raising events.
Just reading headlines can be very dangerous practice. It's easy to be mislead. But if you take the time to read and research with the first question being, "Who benefits?" you learn the truth about the who, what, where, and more importantly the why.

Horses and Heroes combines the concepts a talk show with that of a documentary, by combining the spontaneity of a talk show with the scripted informational aspects of a documentary. It will utilize both interviews and practical demonstrations of horse therapy to give the audience a full understanding of how and why working with the horses help veterans heal. Although Equine Therapy will be the stage, the primary focus will be on the eight veterans as they sharing what they experienced while they served our country and how those events had a lasting effect on their lives as well as on those who love them.

Interview with David Selby

Until You Walk The Path, You Won’t Know Where it Goes will be chatting with actor, director, and writer, David Selby November 24, 2014 at 12 pm eastern as he talks about his new projects and shares his Dark Shadows memories.

Actor David Selby, highly regarded for his villainous work on both daytime and nighttime soap classics, was born in Morgantown, West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University and graduated with both B.S. and M.A. degrees from West Virginia University, then earned a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.

Following many years on the stock stage (from 1961), David finally attracted infamous attention when he signed on as Quentin Collins, a werewolf, on the gothic daytime drama "Dark Shadows" in 1968. He inherited heartthrob status briefly with the role and even recorded two songs during the show's run, "Quentin's Theme" and "I Wanna Dance With You." After the series' demise, he made his movie debut with Night of Dark Shadows (1971), the second film based on the cult series.

He broached top film stardom in the early 1970s after co-starring with Barbra Streisand in Up the Sandbox (1972) and Ron Leibman in The Super Cops (1974), and continued his high-profiled pace with New York theatre productions of "The Heiress" (1976), with Jane Alexander and Richard Kiley, and "Eccentricities of a Nightingale" (1976) with Betsy Palmer, but things didn't quite pan out.

In the 1980s, however, steady TV work helped put an extra shot of adrenalin back into David's career, notably as the cunning Richard Channing on the nighttime soap "Falcon Crest," a role he played from 1982 until 1990. David has graced most of the popular series over the years including "The Waltons," "Police Woman," "Kojak," "Family," "Touched by an Angel," and "Ally McBeal." He has also appeared sporadically in white-collar film support with roles in Dying Young (1991), White Squall (1996) and Surviving Christmas (2004) to his credit. David continues to perform on stage as well.

He portrayed Abraham Lincoln in his own play "Lincoln and James" in 1997 and 1998, and penned the play "Final Assault" which premiered in 2003.
He is a staple player in radio drama with the L.A. Theatre Works these days. David and longtime wife Chip have three children.

Niki Cipriano: A lister of the near future

Niki Cipriano is starring as Sara Jane in our paranormal horror feature Never Can Say Good-bye-when love and hate survive death.

She had this to say about it and her character.

Never Can Say Goodbye is a great love story that takes you on an unpredictable journey of innocence, love, betrayal, loss and hatred through the lives of it's interesting yet complex characters. The character I am playing, Sarah Jane, is a kind and loving soul who is betrayed first in life and then again in death. The love she holds for her family is deep and unconditional and cannot be severed by mortality. She was so impacted by her mortal life, that her presence continued long after death. Throughout the film Sarah Jane’s life impacts many in the film, some of them unknowingly until driven to the brink of sanity. It is not every day you come across a script where you get to play a character with this much emotional growth and impact. Sarah Jane is a cleverly-written, persistent character and I am honored to breathe life into her in this paranormal thriller.

Never Can Say Good-bye: The Reincarnation of Dark Shadows, Ghost, and The Others

Much like Dark Shadows (the original), Ghost, and The Others, Never Can Say Good-bye is a ghost story about suspense, love, and betrayal. It poses the question, "If you were given a second chance, would you choose love or revenge?" Most people say love, but would you be strong enough to forgive the person who murdered your child or would you seek revenge?

Reviewer Roy Sexton read Never Can Say Good-bye's script and review it for us.  His review was insightful and amazing.

Never Can Say Good-bye reinvents the reincarnation conceit (Somewhere in Time, Ellen Burstyn’s 1980 film Resurrection) in the guise of gothic paranormal psychodrama (Nicole Kidman’s 2001 film The Others, Julie Harris’ 1963 film The Haunting, Deborah Kerr’s 1961 film The Innocents). The plot concerns two families united by a doomed marriage in the 1950s and explores the dissonant legacy that familial discord has had on subsequent generations. (See the Stephen King/John Mellencamp musical Ghost Brothers of Darkland County for another take on this thematic concept.)

You can read the rest at his blog http://reelroyreviews.com/2014/07/16/we-love-a-good-ghost-story-how-about-you-never-can-say-good-bye-film-in-development-plus-slipstream-theatre-event-and-shih-tzu-res-cue/#comments

"Unexpected, clever, moving, frightening, twisted, fast paced... All words that easily describe the Script for Never Can Say Goodbye. Yet even as I write them I am not sure they do the story justice. We all love a great ghost story. Undying love, the idea that a love can be so strong as to transcend death. Or a hatred so deep it can do the same. This film touches on all of these ideas while carefully not detracting from the interesting relationships between the well thought out characters. It's ambitious and that draws you in as a performer. The role I will be playing is that of Jefferson. Jefferson is intriguing because the character both displays bravado, confidence and insecurity. Blinded by love he doesn't see what everyone else does. So in essence he is written very human. There is no need to guild the Lilly here. I think there is definitely aspects of myself in the character. I genuinely look forward to getting to know him better. It will be my honor."

John Thomassen
"Jefferson"

Some souls will stop at nothing to reclaim a lost love, including reincarnating and returning to the home that they shared together.

"I will portray Shane, Michael's new wife. Shane loves him and wants to create a good life for them. But a crazy possessed woman, who has traveled across time, wants him back. Shane doesn't know if she can stop her from taking revenge on the man she loves. It's so exciting to be able to play Shane in this film, as it is such a complex role that touches on so many human emotions like love, jealousy, narcissism, passion, anger, and nonhuman things like possession and feeling haunted.

As an actress, to have the chance to be able to explore these emotions, along with portraying someone who is possessed, and express this on film is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It has been a dream of mine to play a role where I get to sing, and this character is a singer in a bluesy band, which involves another element of challenge as an actress to train and sing well as part of a film.

If you can contribute a little something to make this film come alive, you'll increase your good karma and help produce a quality film that you will be very proud to be associated with."

Lillian Lamour
"Shane"

"I've always loved ghost stories as a genre. The "Never Can Say Goodbye" screenplay came to my attention via writer and executive producer, Theresa Chaze and Cosmos Productions. The idea of an epic love story that transcends the physical boundaries of life and death - and crosses the boundaries of inter-dimensional time and space really caught my eye. I am excited to be on board and involved in the project as Director and Producer. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to bring this exciting and imaginative love story that is full of ghostly thrills and chills to life as a feature film."

- STANLEY LIVINGSTON
Director & Producer

Do you remember Ghost, The Others, and the TV series Dark Shadows?

Never Can Say Good-bye is a paranormal thriller, which brings back the suspense and horror of a traditional ghost story. Much like Ghost, Always, and Dark Shadows, Never Can Say Good-bye is a family friendly film that focuses on suspense rather than gore.

Based on character and plot development, Never Can Say Good-bye is a low budget, family friendly film. Unlike the current trends of big budgets that balance on the reputations of one or two A-listers, we have an ensemble cast of recognizable talent as well as the very talented A-listers of the future. If you are innovative, you don't have to spend a 100 million to make a good film. You just need to start with a solid script and add in talented people both in front of and behind the cameras.

Have you ever met someone and suddenly felt love or hate? Did you wonder why? What if you had forgotten the reason? Would you want to remember if it could save you life?

The former New York Giant and Tampa Bay Buccaneer, Goode has appeared in 22 films and 40 national commercials as well as in several television series and made for TV movies.

Much like Ghost, Always, and The Others, Never Can Say Good-bye is a traditional ghost story with several unique twists. With the logline "love can be a blessing or the curse that destroys a town, it poses the question, "If you were given a second chance, would you choose love or revenge?" Most quickly say love, but if the revenge was on the person, who murdered your child, would the answer be as easy?

Though he loves deeply, he has never loved completely. There has always been a missing piece in every relationship that left him feeling lonely and empty. On a soul level, he knew there was only one woman, who can complete him. When he met Shane, she felt familiar and he thought he found his twin flame. Yet as he comes to know the true nature of her heart, he has to decide between rekindling love’s flame or allowing the flames of revenge to destroy them all.

Conrad Goode is an American actor, screenwriter, film producer, musician and artist. He has appeared in 22 films, best known for his roles in Don't Say A Word, Con Air, Anger Management, Me, Myself and Irene and The Longest Yard. Conrad has appeared in a dozen T.V. shows and notably Saturday Night Live, plus reoccurring on One Tree Hill season four.

Conrad has appeared in 40 national commercials, one being the famous Nike Bugs Bunny/Michael Jordan commercial where he was the first human to touch the animated Bugs. Conrad most recently wrote, produced and stared along with Laura Bell Bundy and Bailee Madison in the film Watercolor Postcards in 2013.

Conrad is lead singer/songwriter/guitarist in the band The Chariot Waltz, a published poet, and a painter.
