The Gray: Spreading Misinformation About Wolves

Until You Walk The Path, You Won’t Know Where it Goes is hosting animal activist Justin Forte on January 5 at 1 pm eastern as he talks about how the entertainment industry affects wildlife and how they are perceived.

Forte have had a passion for wolves since he was child. He became a wolf advocate since the age of 16 by volunteering at Wolf Mountain Sanctuary helping care for the wolves there and speaking out against the killing of wolves in the name of special hunting interests. He wants to make people aware of the dictatorship that hunting interests have over the rest of the public, the dirty politics that lead to a budget bill rider that has made wolves exempt from ESA protections. He is also asking for help in reversing the budget rider so the torture and slaughter that is currently going on can be stopped.

Interview with James Redfield

Until You Walk the Path, You Don’t Know Where it Goes will be hosting author and therapist James Redfield on April 29 at 5 pm eastern. Redfield will be talking about his new novel, Twelfth Insight.

James Redfield self-published his first novel in 1993, the immediate groundswell of enthusiasm from booksellers and readers made The Celestine Prophecy one of the most successful self-published books of all time.

Since 1994, when Warner Books published The Celestine Prophecy in hardcover, this adventure parable about a spiritual journey to Peru became one of modern publishing's greatest success stories. According to Publishing Trends, The Celestine Prophecy was the number one international bestseller of 1996, and spent over three years on The New York Times bestsellers list. In 1996, an eagerly awaited sequel, The Tenth Insight: Holding the Vision, which also became an instant bestseller, joined The Celestine Prophecy. The two books spent a combined seventy-four weeks on The New York Times list, making James Redfield the best-selling hardcover author in the world in 1996, as cited in BP Report (January 1997). The Celestine series of adventure parables continued in 1999 with the publication of The Secret of Shambhala: In Search of the Eleventh Insight (Warner Books).

Redfield's contributions to environmental and humanitarian causes is extensive, and has resulted in Humanitarian of the Year awards from Habitat for Humanity and the International New Thought Alliance, and in Wisdom Media Group's WorldView Award. He has joined Marianne Williamson and Neale Donald Walsch to promote nonviolent principles in the political system in an initiative called the Global Renaissance Alliance. And in 1997 Redfield was awarded the Medal of the Presidency of the Italian Senate at the XXIII Pio Manzu International Conference in Rimini, Italy. Pio Manzu is a nongovernmental arm of the United Nations headed up by Mikhail Gorbachev.

In the spring of 2004, principal photography began on an independent feature film based on The Celestine Prophecy. James Redfield partnered with Barnet Bain in cowriting the screenplay before they teamed up with coproducers Terry Collis and Beverly Camhe to take the international bestseller from page to screen. The movie is slated for a 2005 release.

Interview with Conservative Phil Kiver

Until You Walk the Path, You Don’t Know Where it Goes will host Army Veteran and outspoken Conservative speaker Phil Kiver on December 27 at 5 pm eastern.

The writer, Phil Kiver is a former Army soldier and since his service has been a lot like Forest Gump---if there is anything going on in politics or about the war, he has been there--front and center. He was at the Bush ranch confronting Cindy Sheehan, he shows up at political rallies and dinners, on national television, radio shows and in print because of his uncanny ability to be in the middle of the action. He is outspoken, has experienced the war first hand and isn't afraid to mix his impeccable knowledge of history with his analysis of our current situation. You will see him at ball games, floating down the river in an inner tube, talking to veteran's groups, taking his daughter Hero to the park, books in hand ready for a signing. He throws himself into the limelight because of his convictions and overwhelming desire to make a difference. He is an author (182 Days in Iraq and Iraq in Pictures) and has become a well known, outspoken Conservative personality.

Phil Kiver recently spoke at the Ronald Reagan Library, at several Tea Party Rallies, and was the featured 9-11 speaker at Library of Congress in recent years. He just came back from his last trip to Iraq and has been traveling the country giving speeches. Look for him, he is everywhere. He will get you thinking, make you mad and make you laugh all during the same 10 minute conversation.

Tune at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theresachaze on December 27 at 5 pm eastern to learn more about Phil Kiver‘s experiences in Iraq, his book and his perspective as a Conservative. Blog Talk Radio: Be Weird and Wonderful

Hi,

My radio show on Sunday is going to be how humor and comedy can sometimes not only be the best medicine, but also the only medicine that works. A good sense of humor can relief stress and diffuse challenging situations. However instead of my talking, I'm going to be playing music, telling jokes and generally being my weird and wonderful self. The show is going to be simply play time. I'm not sure what I'm going to come up with yet, but you can bet dollars to donuts, it'll be wacky and unexpected. So bring your jokes, the good, the bad and I don't thing you can say that on the radio and join in.

The show is 5 pm eastern at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theresachaze
